In modern slot machines, players insert cash or, in ticket-in, ticket-out machines, a paper ticket with a barcode into a slot on the machine. The reels then spin and, if a combination of symbols lines up on the pay line, the player receives credits according to the machine’s payout table. Symbols vary by machine and can include classics like fruits, bells, and stylized lucky sevens. Some slots also have wild symbols that substitute for other icons to increase the chances of a winning combination.

While it may seem logical to try to win more money by increasing your bet per spin, this strategy is actually very risky and will probably end up costing you more in the long run. The reason is that the random number generator inside each slot machine does not take into account the outcome of previous spins.

To create a synonym, click the magnifying glass icon next to the slot type and then type the word or phrase you want to use. You can also select “Allow synonyms” to enable your bot to recognize multiple alternate words for the same slot type value.
